L-Arginine
is essential for the human body as it can be called the source of nitroxide (NO). Thus, nitroxide is formed in the organism by the enzyme "NO synthase" from the amino acid arginine. The co-enzyme of "NO synthase" in turn is NADH. The more NADH is present in the body, the more NO can be formed. NO, in turn, relaxes and dilates the blood vessels - allowing more blood - and thus more oxygen and more nutrients - to reach the organs.
